7 countries participated in the final meeting in Bordeaux College d’Aquitaine from the 28th May to 2nd June. It was the event dedicated to round up the project results and to carry out the multicultural fiesta. The project partners felt more relaxed this time because the main product – the Integration Manual  of this European activity has been done successfully and introduced in the previous meeting in Panevezys.

The French coordinator Franck Curely tried his best to introduce his town and its surroundings. We could clearly see how much this Integration project meant for his school where the third of students are immigrants or refugees. In Bordeaux there is an unique museum of custom which related so much to our project topic. We could see in the museum different things, maps, pictures telling about migration of people. The trip on the boat, walking in the protected nature park, picnics, dune of Pilat, Arcachon resort place made our stay in Bordeaux very enjoyable. The students had much time to be together and share their experiences as the teacher as well.

The coordinator’s meeting supposed to be very important because of new project planning. The participating teachers arrived with their own ideas regarding the new project. According to suggested topics to the future project it should be linked to healthy food and responsible consumption. All partners have agreed on the significance of later subject to people. The European projects provide the opportunity to come together several countries, introduce their experience, learn from each other and disseminate gained knowledge to others. The preparation work has started, the partners shared their ideas and decided to meet in Bergamo (Italy) for summarising the goals, topics and activities of the new application.

Thank all the partners for the wonderful work and friendship!

We hope for working together in a new project.
